Notes
For interior designers and design firms

One sheet at a time is the slow way to spec.

Controlbook builds the whole specification for you — paste a supplier URL and it extracts the product data, certificates and imagery, organises it by room, and exports the full O&M pack or hands the client a live record.

  • Supplier-URL extraction for product data, certs and images
  • Every item organised by floor and room type
  • Export Control Books, schedules and registers in one click

What is a spec sheet?

A specification sheet (or cut sheet) is the one-page record of a single FF&E item: what it is, who supplies it, its dimensions and materials, the finish, the fire rating and the lead time. Designers issue them so contractors, clients and procurement all work from the same agreed detail, and operators keep them so a broken item can be matched and reordered years later.

This generator gives you a clean, consistent layout and the fields a good spec sheet needs, so every item you issue looks professional and contains the right information. Your product image is handled entirely in the browser — it is never uploaded anywhere — and the live preview shows exactly what will print.

Print to PDF to attach to a schedule, share with a client, or file in an O&M manual. It is a quick free alternative to building a spec-sheet template from scratch — and a single sheet at a time is exactly the manual workflow a live specification platform is designed to replace.

Frequently asked questions

What is a spec sheet (or cut sheet)?

A specification sheet is a one-page document describing a single product — its dimensions, materials, finish, supplier and other key details. In interior design it's also called a cut sheet, and it ensures everyone procures and installs exactly the right item.

What information should a furniture spec sheet include?

Typically: product name and code, supplier, category, dimensions, materials and finishes, fire/compliance rating, lead time and an image. This generator provides fields for all of these and previews the result before you print.

Is my product image uploaded anywhere?

No. The image you add is read and displayed entirely within your browser for the preview and print. It is never sent to or stored on any server.
